It's war out there

Spiritual war is real and it manifests as either good or evil fruit in today's society. The war is on two fronts, invisible (UFOs, aliens, ghosts), and visible (atheists versus Christians). Lately we see more societal interest toward the occult, particularly with 'beings' from the other side. I believe this is a direct deception from the fallen angels and demons who influence our thinking into areas the bible expressly forbids. There are no 'helpful' ghosts wandering about trying to bring "messages" to the living. And there are no UFOs, or aliens. These are my opinions, based on the following:

From Gotquestions.org:
"In Luke 16: 19-31 Jesus tells the story of the rich man and Lazarus. In this story we learn that there are two compartments for the dead until the Great White Throne Judgment (Rev 20:11f). Also in the story, the rich man asks for Lazarus to be sent back to warn the living. Abraham says it would do no good because if they will not believe God's written Word, they will not believe though one should rise from the dead."

"From the above passages of Scripture, we can conclude that there are compartments in which the spirits of the dead dwell for now and that while there are a few instances in which God allowed interaction between the living and the dead, those situations were very rare and not nearly as common as contact between people and angelic beings. Also Luke 16:27-31 would indicate that no human spirits are allowed to return to visit the living without permission, and if permission is not granted for the purpose of warning people to flee from the wrath to come, it would not be given for trifling reasons", like where grandmas's brooch ended up or Uncle Howard is sorry he broke your train set!

Great scriptural answer on UFOs here: Are there such things as aliens or UFOs? and I urge all to read it, because it is my belief we will see more of these 'UFO' stories as the months wear on. Be not deceived! Let us be armed with scriptural arrows in our quiver so we can be ready to help others who fall prey to this evil thinking. Forewarned is forearmed!

Cops, Residents Puzzled By Bizarre Lights Over Morris Co.; Flares? Balloons? Pilot Tells CBS 2 HD He's Baffled

Strange, red, blinking lights could be seen across Morris County on Monday night, and officials thought they had figured out what caused them. Now, they're not so sure. Eleven-year-old Kristin was the first to spot them, a group of three lights together, and two lights together, seen in the horizon through the trees. "I looked up outside. I was really scared and saw five red lights," she said. The family all went out onto their deck to look at the strange sight. Paul Hurley, a pilot who works at Morristown Airport, said they weren't planes. "I've been in aviation for 20 years and never seen anything like it," he told CBS 2

A&E reality show has cops chasing ghosts

A&E is seeking to one-up Sci Fi's "Ghost Hunters" with a new series that blends paranormal investigation with law enforcement. The network has greenlit a new unscripted series called "Paranormal Cops," about a group of Chicago police officers who moonlight as ghost chasers in their spare time. Given the team's law enforcement credentials, the format seeks to add a new layer of credibility to an increasingly popular reality TV genre which has featured ghost hunting teams founded by professional plumbers, actors, and students.
Spiritual War
It's war out there, wherever Jesus has sent the Holy Spirit to do a great work, the invisible world has countered strongly (more strongly than we like to admit)

Finding Jesus in London
"An unexpected spiritual awakening among London's high society has gone unnoticed in recent years. Long considered an aggressively secular city, London has quietly become one of Britain's most Christian areas, going from the least observant region in Britain's most Christian areas, going from the least observant region in Britain in 1979 to the second most observant today.

Atheist bus campaign launches across UK

The UK’s first ever atheist advertising campaign launches this week, with 800 buses featuring the slogan “There’s probably no God. Now stop worrying and enjoy your life” running in cities across England, Scotland and Wales, along with 1000 adverts on the London underground and two large LCD screens on Oxford Street. The campaign, which is supported by Professor Richard Dawkins and the British Humanist Association and in Scotland by the Humanist Society of Scotland, is a response to a series of evangelical Christian adverts running on buses in June 2008, which featured the URL of a website saying all non-Christians were going to hell.

not only did they counter the London revival, but the atheist campaign is spreading to other nations...

Since its donation phase began in October, the Atheist Bus Campaign has inspired atheist organisations across the world to launch their own bus campaigns. Spain’s Union of Atheists and Freethinkers is launching buses across Barcelona today with the UK slogan translated into Spanish, Italy’s Union of Atheists, Agnostics and Rationalists is also planning a bus campaign, while the American Humanist Association has brought out atheist bus adverts in Washington DC.
