Empty tomb, empty clothes

Today the tomb is empty. Christ is risen! He lives.

He told us that someday He will come back for us.

"They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." Acts 1:9

Do you believe Jesus will return? Many prophetic utterances in the bible say so, not to mention the words from Jesus Himself.

John 14:2, 3-- "I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also."

1 Corinthians 15:52-- "in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed."

When that moment happens, known as the rapture, every true Christian everywhere will be lifted, snatched says the Greek, out of what they were doing and whisked away to meet Jesus in the air. "Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words." 1 Thessalonians 4:17-18

This is what it may look like:
What will you do when you look over at your office mate and his clothes are slumped over the ergonomic chair? What will you do when your mate's nightgown is laying on the bed along with her ring and artificial hip? What will you do when driving down the highway and suddenly the vehicles start swerving and you notice only clothes in the drivers' seats?

Hopefully you will know that the Rapture has just occurred. Hopefully you will not delay in getting down on your knees and asking the Lord to accept your sins and beg forgiveness of them. Because, you see, the further into the Tribulation you go, the harder hearts will become.

Revelation chapter nine contains three verses that have to do with the hearts of men during those times. The scene is between the fifth and sixth trumpets. Revelation 9:6, 20, 21 depicts agonies yet men shake their fists at God and refuse to accept His authority, preferring their own authority in agony.
