Israeli Ambassador slips: war with Iran?

We know from scripture that in the end time or in the Tribulation (scholars are divided on the timing but not the fact of it happening) there will be a war called Gog-Magog, or Ezekiel's War. An alliance of countries headed by Russia, Iran, and Turkey will assemble to invade Israel with intent to plunder "a great spoil." God will supernaturally protect Israel.

Recently, Israel announced that they have discovered a massive and "historical" field of natural gas off Haifa. Recently, despite traditionally aligning with the West, Turkey stormed out of the Davos summit in extreme anger against Israel and her allies, to the applause of Iran. Recently, Russia has become belligerent, and Iran claims to nearly have the bomb and will wipe Israel from the map.

The stage is set for Ezekiel's War.

Remember when Colin Powell, former Secretary of State, Madeleine Albright, former Secretary of State, and candidate for VP at that time Joe Biden stated flatly and factually that 'something', some 'event' is going to occur that will test Obama in the early days and months of his Presidency?

Colin Powell: "There’s going to be a crisis come along on the 21st or 22nd of January that we don’t even know about right now.”
Joe Biden: "Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy."
Madeleine Albright agrees with Biden's statement of fact: "I think it is a — it's just a statement of fact, frankly, and in my book I talk about the fact that there are a lot of big issues out there, but that also something unexpected, you always have to be prepared for that."

Now, we have the Israeli Ambassador to Australia saying the exact same thing. However, the statement the Ambassador made seemed to be a slip. After he said it, he looked at the cameras for a pregnant pause, realizing his mistake, asked for the cameras to be turned off. I post the video below, and also include a transcription because his heavy accent is hard to understand:

News Anchor:
Israel’s Ambassador to Australia has delivered a belligerent warning to Iran that it could face a backlash from moderate Middle Eastern countries in the next month. In an unguarded speech to Sydney’s Jews, Yuval Rotem has said that the conflict in Gaza has opened up new fault lines between radicals and moderates. The Ambassador suggested that the time to address the challenge of a nuclear Iran is approaching…before he ordered the media to stop recording.

Ambassador
There is room to put together some more forces of moderates around a realignment of forces that can handle and can address the means of reaching the challenge we are all going to face of the upcoming month. And there is going to be one. [emphasis mine]

[Deer in headlight look.]

If you can switch off please, the camera…
I do not claim to know anything about timing of the prophesied Gog-Magog war described in Ezekiel. I do like to connect dots, though. Regarding 'Obama's Test', it seemed to me to be an unusual set of successive statements by people in positions to know, and even more unusual that they did not equivocate as politicians normally do. Additionally, we have seen the rapid re-alignment of the Middle Eastern countries, and now the flat statement by the Israeli Ambassador that 'there is going to be' a military challenge within the next month.

Israel will elect a new Prime Minister on Feb. 10. Meanwhile, keep watching the Middle East, Jerusalem is our heartbeat to prophecy!
